How the Growth Calculator Works

The Growth Calculator answers the question every contractor wishes their marketing agency would: how many qualified leads do I actually need this month to hit my revenue goal? It works backward from your target revenue using three numbers you already know — your monthly revenue goal, average job size, and historical close rate.

What Each Input Means

• Monthly Revenue Goal — the total revenue you want to book this month. For most BaaDigi clients, this is 8–12% above last month, not a moonshot. Steady compounding wins.
• Average Job Size — pull this from your CRM or last 6 months of invoices. Replacement roofers run $12,000–$25,000. HVAC service calls run $300–$1,500. Plumbing emergencies run $400–$3,000. Use your actual number, not industry averages.
• Close Rate — the percentage of qualified leads that turn into booked jobs. Contractors who pick up the phone within 5 minutes close 30–45%. Contractors who wait 30+ minutes close 8–15%. Speed-to-lead is the single biggest lever here.

How to Use the Output

The calculator returns two numbers: jobs needed and leads required. Compare them against your last 30 days. If you booked 25 jobs last month and the calculator says you need 40 to hit your goal, the gap is clear. If you got 80 leads last month and only closed 25, your problem isn't lead volume — it's close rate, speed-to-lead, or lead quality.
